Celebrating Matariki at Pascals Albany
Another aroha-filled Matariki festival this year for Pascals Albany!
We have had an immersive month - rich with all the spirit of Matariki: korowai-making, harakeke-weaving, many a waiata, a bus trip to a school kapa haka performance, and lots and lots of Te Reo Maori all around the centre; culminating in a night of singing more waiata with our centre whānau, and then sharing kai together in our candle-lit rooms and around fire pits under the beautiful bright winter marama!
