Visiting the local retirement home
Every fortnight on a Wednesday we walk down to our local retirement home – Jervois Residential Care. The children spend time interacting with the residents and building relationships with them. This week they did some painting together and the residents gave the children some bubbles each to bring back to the centre. The children blew bubbles for their friends when they returned and shared them with everyone!
